Lovely
A very personal look into the life of a young woman and her journey thru love, life. I will give a copy of this to my teenage daughter! I could hear her voice.
I purchased this book on a lark mostly because of the interesting title not really expecting too much. I received much more than I bargained for. Very introspective account of a young American woman's grappling with the issues of life. Kind of reminded me of the flavor of John Updike's "A&P" and Gwendolyn Brooks "We Real Cool" although from the distaff perspective. Great imagery with a touch of Sylvia Plath. S.E. Broxup is a talented writer that I hope continues to set words to paper. - A Padre
